McTimoney Chiropractic & Natural Health Therapies
Chiropractic looks at posture and alignment and how it affects wellbeing, movement and ease of function in daily life. Our day-to-day activities, poor posture, accidents and illness may cause discomfort, stiffness and inhibition of natural movement.
The McTimoney Method of Chiropractic is named after its originator, John McTimoney, who developed this gentle, whole body approach from existing Chiropractic techniques.
On your first consultation Kay will discuss your objectives, followed by a full body alignment evaluation and treatment. The consultation is designed to indicate if it is appropriate to refer you for medical screening with a qualified service.
The number of consultations will depend on factors such as how long you have had the symptoms. An individualised treatment plan will be created with you. The treatment is suitable for most people and for all ages, from babies to seniors.
All UK Chiropractors are registered with the General Chiropractic Council, the UK's statutory body for Chiropractors. The McTimoney Chiropractic Association is the professional body for all Chiropractors trained at the McTimoney Chiropractic College in the UK. It is the second largest professional Chiropractic Association in the UK and Europe. McTimoney Chiropractors attend a 4 year full-time course or a 5 year part-time course which is accredited by the General Chiropractic Council.
